Our Studio

Turning Point Dance Studio has been a part of Elmwood Park’s community for over 40 years. Originally established by Patricia Toniolo, “Ms. Pat,” in 1979, the studio has inspired and enriched the lives of many both personally and professionally over the years.

Now owned and operated by former student and longtime teacher, Niki Wilk Mahon, the studio strives to enrich the lives of each student enrolled, at every age, by nurturing dancers’ physical and mental health, while also developing creativity, athleticism, and artistry.

Under Miss Niki’s direction, the studio also promotes a caring, positive, and motivating dance studio environment. The studio teaches elements of dance technique and performance while instilling a lasting influence in the students' lives by engaging them in performance opportunities, encouraging the development of character, creating positive self-awareness, promoting a sense of community, and implementing life and leadership skills.
